Mansion House (District and Circle lines) and Southwark (Jubilee line) are also within easy walking distance.
By train: Blackfriars Station and London Bridge Station are both served by National Rail, each a short walk from the theatre along the South Bank.
By bus: Routes 40, 63, N63 and N89 stop near Blackfriars Station, approximately 8 minutes' walk from the Globe.
By boat: Uber Boat by Thames Clippers stops at Bankside Pier, directly outside the theatre — a scenic option with great views of the river.

There is no on-site parking at Shakespeare's Globe. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and public parking nearby is very limited. We strongly recommend travelling by tube, train, bus or boat. The nearest stations are Blackfriars (10-minute walk) and London Bridge (15-minute walk). Uber Boat by Thames Clippers stops directly outside at Bankside Pier.
Yes. Shakespeare's Globe offers step-free access to the main foyer and the Groundling Yard. Wheelchair spaces are available in the Yard and in Gentleman's Box P (3 spaces with companion seating), accessible via lift. Accessible toilets are located at Globe Door 1 and on the Lecture Theatre level. Audio-described, captioned, BSL-interpreted and relaxed performances are available on selected dates. Patrons with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact the box office in advance.
Outside food and drink are not permitted inside the theatre. The Globe has its own bars and food kiosks open before the performance and during the interval, as well as the Swan bar and restaurant on site for pre- and post-show dining.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the theatre or on the Globe's premises. Designated smoking areas are not available on site. Patrons wishing to smoke should do so away from the building.
Photography for personal, non-commercial use is generally permitted before the performance and during the interval. Photography and filming during the performance itself is not allowed, out of respect for the cast and fellow audience members. Flash photography is strictly prohibited at all times.
